Welcome to Llandrindod U3A!

Our full meetings take place on the 2nd Monday of each month at the Hotel Metropole, Llandrindod Wells.

We meet for coffee at 10:00am followed by a talk given by a guest speaker on a subject of general interest. Prospective members are offered ONE free visit to any of our general meetings. Come along - you will be sure of a warm welcome!

In 1999 Jen Green received a package from her 83 year old aunt which was not to be opened until after her death. After her aunt died, the package was found to contain an address book of her aunt’s life time of lovers - all of whom she wanted contacted. This is her story.

Take up a new interest!

U3A Members benefit from being able to join any of the growing number of Interest Groups which cover a wide variety of subjects. Some members join the U3A just to be able to participate in our friendly Interest Groups led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic leaders.

Art Group

In August the Art Group held a full day workshop at Bleddfa Art Centre near Knighton where they were shown various water colour techniques. Photos and some examples of their work are on the Art group's page.

Garden Visiting Group

In August the group visited the gardens at Fraithwen, Tregynon (just north of Newtown). You can see photos of their visit.
