Welcome to Llandrindod u3a!

“Nobody has to stop learning just because they have stopped working.”

The u3a is for people who want to keep active in mind and body, enjoy socialising, and are no longer in full time employment.

Our main meetings are held on the second Monday of each month in the Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells. We meet for refreshments at 10:00am followed by a talk given by a guest speaker on a subject of general interest.

Take up a new interest!

u3a Members also benefit from being able to join any of the growing number of Interest Groups which cover a wide variety of subjects. Some members join the u3a just to be able to participate in our friendly Groups led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic leaders.

fascinating and informative talks by speakers passionate about their subjects … anything from engine oils to how to make violins, walks across Africa to the DNA of Richard III

… learning for pure pleasure with a great group of people who have become friends

The meetings due to be held on January 17th and February 14th have been cancelled.
We hope to reschedule the speakers for later in the year.

For more changes due to Coronavirus please read our latest update on u3a activities.
