Free “digital clinics” by Cardiff Metropolitan University

Cardiff Metropolitan University is running a series of free drop-in sessions in Llandrindod for anyone who finds difficulty in working with the new digital world. Each session will be informal where people can bring their own personal devices – smartphones, tablets, laptops – and ask questions of get help using their technology more effectively and safely. The sessions aim to provide one-to-one assistance.

The sessions will be held at PAVO, Unit 30, Ddole Road Industrial Estate from 9am to 1pm.

There will also be a workshop each day to help with specific technical issues.

  • August 5th: Drop in session followed by “using your smartphone safely”
  • August 6th: Drop in session followed by “effective and safe use of AI tools”
  • August 7th: Drop in session followed by “digital and online security”
  • August 8th: Drop in session followed by “online Branding”
  • August 9th: Drop in session followed by “using online website building tools”
