The Sewing Group

The group meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 10:00am to 12.00 noon in a first floor room at The Hive (Please note there is no lift in the building.)

  • We welcome all to stitch with us in the bright and warm room at The Hive.
  • Join us with any level of sewing skills to learn and progress.
  • Bring your own project and one of us will guide through the first stages of stitching or just enjoy working something ongoing.

Susie is our expert on patchwork and quilting and is there to welcome anyone wanting to make a patchwork item – small or large! She has taught in the world of stitch and textiles for many years.

We are, of course, a very friendly group so just pop in and say hello and see what the group are stitching.
