Singing for Fun

The group will meet in The Commodore  in Llandrindod Wells , plenty of onsite free parking.

on the first, second , third and fifth Wednesday afternoon of each month

 between 2:00pm and 3:30pm.

no charge but please buy yourself a drink either before, during or after session. soft drinks approx £2.

There is no need to have sung in a choir before or be able to read music, nor have a brilliant singing voice, all welcome just enthusiasm needed ! We singalong together to pop from the 50s ,60s , 70s and 80s, songs from shows and traditional songs we all know accompanied by our pianist Sue Turner. We sing together (not in 4 part harmony) with lyric sheets provided..

Our current song list includes Lilly The Pink, 16 Tons, Oklahoma, I Only Wanna Be With You, The Street Where You Live, Puppet On A String, There’s A Kind Of Hush, Saturday Night At The Movies,I’m A believer, Good Morning Starshine and Land Of Hope and Glory .

singers sang a variety of songs at Howey village hall and also Golden Age Club in Crossgates and were rewarded with a delicious home made afternoon tea.
