Virtual Travel Group

Group Leader: Stephen Ashley – steve@u3a-llandrindod.org.uk

We’re back – well, from October we are.

The Group meets on the second Thursday of each month at 10:30am, usually at Celf-o-Gwmpas (what was the Drama Centre by Trefonnen)

At each meeting a member takes us on a ‘virtual journey’ to an interesting place in the world. You are very welcome to join us – no passport needed! And there are teas, coffees and biccies all the way!

We are always on the look-out for new destinations – they don’t have to be exotic or far away, just interesting. Help is available for turning slides etc into presentations and we are a pretty relaxed bunch (do some come just for the range of teas and biscuits we offer?) and are very supportive of people who are not used to giving presentations. We use the U3a’s own laptop and projector – again help is available.

Please contact the Group Leader for further information.
