Virtual Travel Group

This group is not currently active.

Would you consider being the group leader for this group, or for a new group along similar lines?

Please contact the Interest Groups Co-ordinator steve@u3a-llandrindod.org.uk

We are always on the look-out for new destinations – they don’t have to be exotic or far away, just interesting. Help is available for turning slides etc into presentations and we are a pretty relaxed bunch (do some come just for the range of teas and biscuits we offer?) and are very supportive of people who are not used to giving presentations. We use the U3a’s own laptop and projector – again help is available.

This will be the last session with Stephen Ashley as Leader of the Group. So we are actively seeking his replacement. Please do consider it. No special talents are required, other than being able to organise the speakers and take the money.

What to do on a dull day

Published 4th June 2022

Rather than go to one destination this month, our presentation will suggest about 40 activities from around the World that you could do to liven up a dull day: not that we virtual travelers have any dull days of course!

It will be fun and is bound to make you gasp with astonishment.

See you at Celf 10 for 10.30 on Thursday 09 June.

This will be our last meeting until September. Also, a reminder that Stephen Ashley is relinquishing the leader role for Virtual Travel after around 10 years and so we are actively seeking someone to take over. Please do consider this fun and rewarding role.
