Who we are

Llandrindod and District u3a is an independent self-financing and self-managing charity linked to the Third Age Trust. The Trust provides members with a national newsletter and support services.

Our Website provides information about our activities to our members and prospective members. We do not place any third party advertising content or social media tracking mechanisms on our website.

Cookies

When you click the OK button on our cookie notice we will save a single item of data to your local storage so that we know not to display the notice again when you re-visit our website. No personal data is stored.

We only provide login facilities on this website to our members. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Personal data

If you have been given a username and password to log in to this website then we will hold your name and email address and details of any role you perform for our u3a, such as leading an Interest Group or being a committee member.

With your consent, we may publish your name in association with our u3a activities or personal activity that you contribute as part of a u3a event. Requests for alteration or removal of published material should be sent to the website manager.
