Cutting through the woods from the Lake we joined the Golf Course road above the clubhouse. We continued past Little Hill and turned down towards Howey at Ty Gwyn Bach.

We walked back to the Old Parish Church along the track opposite the turning to Three Wells, passing Llwyncuebren and the disused mines, where we had a good view of the church as we approached. Sitting outside the church we looked back across the fields along the route where we had walked. Then it was downhill all the way back to the Lake.
