Work in Isolation

Alan Quincey writes … I dug out some old “fold over ruling pens”. Two I bought and two I made from drink cans. The home made ones perform better. Originally they were for lettering but that’s not easy and I am out of practice, so I just used them for mark making to get the feel again. They are remarkable because they make everything from a wide line to a hairline, depending on how they are held. Some bits were calligraphic, some exploratory with colour added.
