The day was dull and drizzly, with more rain forecast, so several people decided not to come. However, two intrepid walkers decided to join me and brave the elements for a short walk. Starting from Shaky Bridge, we headed up Happy Valley, once again in the quest of bluebells. We were not disappointed! Not only were they showing at their glorious best, but also the rain held off and we had a lovely walk.
Having reached the end of the footpath through the valley, we turned right up the hill, along the track past Upper Llanoley and back to Shaky Bridge. We then continued over the bridge to Cefnllys Church, which was sadly closed, but we explored the churchyard before heading back.
